The best places in Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv is vibrant during the day and during the night, but the noise can also overwhelm people. To make some order in the mess here is a list of the best places you can visit

main photo

To eat:

Dr Shakshuka - The best shakshuka in town, from a famous chef. Located in Jaffa in a lively street. A great place to have your breakfast in before you start your day

Prozdor - The best burger I had in my life. The place is small and you can't reserve a table, if you go during busy times you will have to wait outside until a table is available. Best time to try is lunch when you need a break from the sun on the beach!

For beer:

Beerbazaar - If you want to try all of Israel's craft beer, this is the place. They have mutliple locations in the city and sell bottled beer from most of the local breweries.

Molly Bloom's - Located next to Prozdor, it's a great place to pass the waiting time for a burger, and probably the best Irish bar in town. A great place for a Guinness!

Schnitt - One of Israel's best breweries, located just next to the Azrieli mall, with sitting both inside and outside

To meet travelers:

Abraham Hostel - The best place to meet fellow travelers. The hostel host a variety of activities, like game nights, language exchange, pub crawl, and some parties. Enjoy the variety of activities and people!

To party:

Dizzy Frishdon - Probably the best bar to go out to. Located at the corner intersection of the Dizingoff, Frishman, Gordon streets (hence the name). Always has a great vibe, good music and good people. The problem with the centric location is that it gets full quickly, so plan ahead!

Kuli Alma - An alternative night club, with a few rooms that offer different genres of music. Our favorite club in the city.

Havana Club - If you feel like dancing to some Latin music, this is the place for you. They host a Salsa & bachata night 3 times a week, and the biggest Reggaeton party in town on Fridays.

To Chill:

Park Hayarkon - The biggest park in the city, with the Yarkon river going through it until it reaches to the see. The park is chill and vibrant at the same time, having people hanging out on the grass, jogging, and a few sport complexes to do any sport you can imagine (Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Bouldering, Rugby and more!). This is where families come to chill on a nice day, and it is even a part of the Israeli hiking trail that passes through the whole country.

The beachwalk - Walk on the beach and watch some beach volleyball, catch some sun, jog, and find the perfect spot to catch the Sunset!

Final thoughts

Tel Aviv is a big and lively city. There is something for everyone in it. As someone who spent some time there, these places are my something and in my opinion the best you can find in Tel Aviv. If you use this list, I hope you enjoy the places as much as I did! If not, let me know what is missing!
